Overview of International Activity
At Charles Dale Memorial International School, a lot of effort is being committed to preparing our learners to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world, build positive thinking, and promote global citizenship, which also depicts the vision statement of the school, which is “to produce the total child”.
The ISA project has become a wonderful opportunity and a working tool the school has used to project its desire to establish an academic community that encourages academic excellence, academic collaboration, build critical thinking skills, and enhance cross cultural understanding, among other things.
CDMIS ISA International Policy
The International School Award program provides an opportunity to create a learning environment where learners, staff, and the wider school community understand and value diversity, respect different cultures, and develop the skills needed to thrive in a globally interconnected world by fostering global citizenship, innovation, collaboration and inter cultural awareness within the school community.
Policy Statement:
Charles Dale Memorial International School is committed to ensure that learners are well equipped with all the required resources needed to project them at the global stage by providing a holistic educational experience that aligns with our vision of “producing the total child”—learners that are morally, socially, spiritually & academically sound, using state-of-the-art facilities and international curriculum standards.
Scope:
This policy encompasses all curricular, extracurricular, and community activities that relate to global learning and cultural exchange and applies to all members of the school community, including learners, teachers, administrative staff, and parents.
Aims:
The policy’s aim are to;
- Promote Global Learning by integrating global themes such as those from the SDG’s into the school curriculum
- Encourage Cultural awareness and Facilitating Cultural Exchange by developing activities that will help learners understand diverse cultural backgrounds and provide opportunities for cultural interaction with peers from around the world.
- Promote Civic Engagement by encouraging students to take active roles in addressing global challenges through service-learning projects and community development activities.
- Promote Language Development by encouraging multilingualism and language learning as a way to foster communication and understanding across cultures.
- Equip Learners with required knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to compete with peers at international levels by exposing learners to global issues and encouraging innovations.
Activities of our international work are focused around building cross-cultural partnerships, engaging learners in global issues, and promoting collaboration with schools from different countries.

This activity promotes poverty reduction, encourages self-reliance, and offers learners hands-on citizenship experience as active contributors and ambassadors of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
